JACK RUSSELL TERRIER FEATURES

The Jack Russell has recently been recognized by the American Kennel Club. This small, sturdy and athletic dog resembles a less refined version of the Fox Terrier. Provided that at least 51% is white, reddish black, tan and brown spots are seen especially on the head and tail. The skull is wide between the ears and tapers towards the nose. It has a strong prey drive and should not be trusted with other small pets. He loves to chase and explore. It should not be released without a leash. Jack Russell loves to dig and bark. If it is not kept busy enough, it can become restless and damage things.

Living Environment

Jack Russell Terrier can also adapt to apartment life when adequate exercise is provided. He is very active inside the house.

The Jack Russell Terrier is easily adaptable and can entertain itself in a small garden. However, it is happiest when it is running, playing or hunting.
