JACK RUSSELL TERRIER FEATURES
The Jack Russell has recently been recognized by the American Kennel Club. This small, sturdy and athletic dog resembles a less refined version of the Fox Terrier. Provided that at least 51% is white, reddish black, tan and brown spots are seen especially on the head and tail. The skull is wide between the ears and tapers towards the nose. Prominent forehead protrusion; but it is not very sharp. The nose is black and the eyes are dark and almond-shaped. V-shaped ears are curved forward. The Jack Russell has a flexible body and a relatively narrow chest that can be grasped by the average person's hands. This helps it get into crevices after prey. Jack Russell Terrier is an active and lively breed. He is bold and absolutely fearless. He loves to play games. He is good with children who do not tease him or hit him. He is very intelligent; But he is stubborn and independent. Training can be difficult. Jack Russell can be aggressive towards other dogs. For this reason, it should be socialized very well when it is a puppy. Some of them were killed by other dogs for this reason. It has a strong prey drive and should not be trusted with other small pets. He loves to chase and explore. It should not be released without a leash. Jack Russell loves to dig and bark. If it is not kept busy enough, it can become restless and damage things.
Living Environment
Jack Russell Terrier can also adapt to apartment life when adequate exercise is provided. He is very active inside the house.
Exercise Need
The Jack Russell Terrier is easily adaptable and can entertain itself in a small garden. However, it is happiest when it is running, playing or hunting.
